Artistic Practice
In his paintings, cubist influences meet expressive forms, shifting proportions and overlapping shapes. The structure remains flexible, allowing the figure to retain its presence and character.
His ink sketches are more immediate. Broad black marks, unfinished lines and empty spaces carry the expression without relying on colour or elaborate detail.
Some sketches focus on psychological states and personal experiences. Made in black ink, they stand as independent works alongside the paintings.
